I started playing the Guitar while i was still at school aged 15 and was told
by a lot of so called top local guitar players at the time you will never
be able to play the guitar good enough to play in a successful band. Whattt!

I have been blessed with having the same hereditary condition as my father
possessing just over a half sized little finger, it's good job i never
listened to them know it all's, eh! I always wanted to play in a band and
nothing was going to stop me i just kept practicing the rest is history.

I studied and passed my teaching qualification a few years ago, now I am able
to help other people in my spare time to enjoy music, helping people like myself
who have that learning difficulty with all the jibberishy theory
that many say you have to learn before you can play properly.

We are all individual people with different ways of learning.
Did anyone tell Jimi Hendrix he had to learn to Read and play from books!

I have always wanted to play in a Status Quo style band and have
been doing so for the last 20 odd years and having fun with Straight as Quo.

Never made much money with this band but we
have achieved some memorable moments together.
